360 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, MOOSE LODGE. The Clerk read the title of the resolution after which <br />the City Attorney read the contents. Councilman Spillers moved to adopt the resolution, however, the motion <br />lost for lack of a second. Councilman Herkner moved that the City Attorney amend the resolution as read to <br />provide that Moose Lodge be granted a permit to build and :operate their lodge but that no liquor be sold on <br />the premises and they eliminate the liquor License, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call, <br />Councilmen Granger, Herkner, Spillers and Weymouth voting yes and Councilmen Fields, Rosselli and Mayor Royer <br />voting no. <br />The City Attorney read the changes under paragraph 3 and 4 of the new resolution. Councilman Herkner moved <br />adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2891 OVERRULING ACTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, GRANTING USE PERMIT FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A CLUB HOUSE BY THE LOYAL ORDER OF MOOSE NO. 11123 AND ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS THEREON., sec- M4 <br />onded by Councilman Weymouth and carried,on roll call with Councilmen Granger, Herkner, Spillers and Weymouth ..Wd <br />voting yes and Councilmen Fields, Rosselli and Mayor Royer voting No. <br />ASSESSOR -AUDITOR REQUESTS AUTHORITY TO CANCEL WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES TOTALING $859.57. A summary of the charges <br />are as follows: <br />Weed abatement assessments on Hetch-Hetchy r/w property on which City of Redwood City has surface <br />rights---------------------------------------- --- ----$356.59 <br />Weed abatement assessments on City property not on tax roll, 24 parcels totaling - - - - - - - - 502.98 <br />$859.57 <br />Councilman Spillers moved to cancel weed abatement charges in accordance with the request (MINUTE ORDER <br />#59-176)2 seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING, STORM WATER PUMP REDWOOD INDUSTRIAL TRACT NO. 2. Councilman Weymouth moved adoptionof RESOLUTION NO. 2892 AWARDING BID FOR THE FURNISHING AND <br />INSTALLATION OF ONE STORM WATER PUMP, REDWOOD INDUSTRIAL TRACT N0, 2; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED, <br />seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING, AIR CCUPRESSCR FOR WATER DEPARTMENT. Bacon Company, in the amount of $4400, be accepted as this <br />vqq� <br />compressor is the only one that meets the specifications. Councilman Spillers moved adoption of RESOLUTION <br />N0. 2893 AWARDING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF A NEW ROTARY TYPE AIR COMPRESSOR; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />CITY ENGINEER REQUESTS AUTHORITY TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIRICATIONS FCR REPLACEMENT OF CULVERT ON ADAMS STREET <br />between Roosevelt Avenue and Oak Street under the same joint assessment and cash proceedings as the Clinton "*R <br />and Duane Street Culverts. It is recommended that the City contribute to this assessment project two-thirds <br />of the total cost. Sufficient funds are provided in the 1959-60 Capital Projects Budget for this contribution. <br />Councilman Spillers moved to approve preparation of plans and specifications and authorize the advance of funds <br />from Assessment District Revolving Fund -(MINUTE ORDER #59-177), seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO, 289. APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM, MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS, <br />SECONded by Councilman Granger and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />
