Councilman Granger asked permission to he excused from the next Council meeting as he would be attend- ing to city business with the City of Pacifica. Permission was granted. Sequoia Junior Unit 27 (Junior Native Daughters) invited the Council to attend their public instal- lation on April 23rd at 8:00 p. m. in Veterans Memorial Building. Councilman Herkner asked the City Manager to check into the possibility of rounding off the corner of Broadway and Chestnut Street, Councilman Spillers moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. Kreiss and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Holmquist, Lo Councilman Rosselli moved approval of the minutes of April 13th as mailed, seconded by Councilman S pipers and carried. PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PETITION,OF ANTHONY J., SILVIO & CHARLES BOICELLI TO amend Sections 4.2 and 4/3 of Ordinance No. 6000 to rezone to C -1-H District the R-4 and R-3 Districts to the rear of the existing C -1-H District to a total depth of 460 feet from El Camino Real located in the 2500 Block on the west side of El Camino Real 500 feet southeast of Center Street in Redwood City. The affidavits of notice were ordered filed. There were no written protests. After the reading of the Planning Commission reports and discussion by Louis Depaoli, Jr., representing the applicants, Councilman Rosselli moved that the public hearing be closed.. seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. Mr. Depaoli stated for the record that the applicants have no objections to the setting of plan lines on Madrone and Northumberland Streets, Councilman Spillers moved to introduce an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 600, the Zoning Ordinance, to rezone propertys, 460 feet in depth, located in the 2500 block on the west side of El Camino Real, frac 8-3 and R-4 Districts to C -1-H District, seconded by Councilman'Rosselli and carried. APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE TO OPERATE A BOWLING ALLEY AND BILLIARD ROOM (Peninsula Bawling Corp., Allan E. Packer, Vice President).
