Permission was granted. <br />Sequoia Junior Unit 27 (Junior Native Daughters) invited the Council to attend their public instal- <br />lation on April 23rd at 8:00 p. m. in Veterans Memorial Building. <br />Councilman Herkner asked the City Manager to check into the possibility of rounding off the corner of <br />Broadway and Chestnut Street, <br />Councilman Spillers moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. Kreiss and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Holmquist, <br />Lo Councilman Rosselli moved approval of the minutes of April 13th as mailed, seconded by Councilman S pipers <br />and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PETITION,OF ANTHONY J., SILVIO & CHARLES BOICELLI TO amend Sections 4.2 and 4/3 of <br />Ordinance No. 6000 to rezone to C -1-H District the R-4 and R-3 Districts to the rear of the existing <br />C -1-H District to a total depth of 460 feet from El Camino Real located in the 2500 Block on the west <br />side of El Camino Real 500 feet southeast of Center Street in Redwood City. The affidavits of notice <br />were ordered filed. There were no written protests. After the reading of the Planning Commission <br />reports and discussion by Louis Depaoli, Jr., representing the applicants, Councilman Rosselli moved <br />that the public hearing be closed.. seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Mr. Depaoli stated for the record that the applicants have no objections to the setting of plan lines <br />on Madrone and Northumberland Streets, <br />Councilman Spillers moved to introduce an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 600, the Zoning Ordinance, <br />to rezone propertys, 460 feet in depth, located in the 2500 block on the west side of El Camino Real, <br />frac 8-3 and R-4 Districts to C -1-H District, seconded by Councilman'Rosselli and carried. <br />APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE TO OPERATE A BOWLING ALLEY AND BILLIARD ROOM (Peninsula Bawling Corp., Allan E. <br />Packer, Vice President).
