There being no protests, written or oral, Councilman Spillers moved that <br />the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Herkner and,carried. <br />Councilman Spillers moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0, 2729 OVERRULING ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO THE ABAND- <br />ONMENT.OF A PARK IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, LOCATED BETWEEN ANAMOR STREET, CONNECTICUT DRIVE, AND KENTUCKY ...r <br />STREET, AND ORDERING THE PARK TO BE ABONDONED, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call, <br />Mayor Royer being noted absent. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to direct the City Assessor to prepare appraisals of the property for the purpose <br />of disposition(l[INUTE ORDER #59-56), seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING TO CLOSE AND ABANDON CERTAIN WALKWAYS BETWEEN ANA MOR STREET AND CONNECTICUT DRIVE AND BETWEEN A <br />TRIANGULAR PARK AND KENTUCKY STREETS. APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING PROTESTS IN <br />RELATION TO PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT. AND DIRECTING NOTICE, ROSE AVENUE EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT (public hear- <br />ing July 6, 1959), seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call, Mayor Royer being noted absent* <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION OF LESLIE ANNEXATION NO. 1. The public hearing was declared open and the affidavits P"" <br />of publication were ordered filed. The Clerk read the letter from the State Lands Commission wherein they y <br />stated that the necessary appraisal of the State lands will be performed in the immediate future and will be <br />submitted to the State Lands Commission at its meeting to be held in the latter part of June, possibly on <br />June 2 5, 1959. They requested the hearings on Annexations Nos. 1 and 2 be held over until after this date. <br />The letter was ordered filed. <br />
