ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS, FARM HILL NO. 6. The City Engineer recommends that the improvements in this sub- division be accepted subject to the following conditions: (1) Subdivider to deposit $830 to guarantee the furnishing and planting of required Street trees after loc- ation and construction of homes and driveways (City received $830 check 7/9/59)- (2) Subdivider to deposit $1,400 to cover installation of sewer cleanouts. 41,400 check received by City 7/10/59) (3) Payment of all monies for engineering and inspection owing the City. (Estimated $150 - check received by City 7/10/59) (4) One year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. It is recommended that planting of trees and installation of sewer cleanouts be deferred until location of houses, -and driveways has been determined and construction stated and more satisfactory weather conditions for tree planting. Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2787 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEPOSIT AGREEMENT WITH OIDDSTAD HOMES TO GUARANTEE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF STREET TREES AND SEWER CLEAN -OUTS IN FARM HILL SUBDIVISION NO. 6, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. AMENDMENT TO THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM. Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 2788 OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT PROVIDING FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF THE CITY CF REDWOOD CITY IN THE STATE EMPLOYEESI RETIREMENT SYSTEM, MAKING ITS EMPLOYEES MEMBERS OF SAID SYSTEM, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. CITY ENGINEER RECOMMENDS ACCEPTANCE OF EXCAVATION AND SITE WORK CONTRACT AT SEQUOIA RESERVOIR SITE, The City Engineer recommended that the work completed under the contract for Excavation and Site Work be accepted, subject to the one year guarantee and conditions set forth in Section 1.9, pages I-3 and I-4 of the speci- fications.
