EMMINENT DOMAIN TO ACQUIRE SAID INTERESTS9, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll <br />call. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />The Board of Directors of the Redwood City -San Carlos -Belmont Board of Realtors requested that a member or <br />a committee of members from this Board be allowed to attend all meetings of the Council of Redwood City, <br />1044 <br />Marty Johr has been suggested to head a committee to represent this Board and will be assisted by Ralph I. <br />r� <br />Ebner and Ric Richardson. <br />Board of Supervisors reported that the matter of the County possibly participating with the City of Redwood <br />City in the Five Points intersection construction project was referred to the County Manager and the Co unty <br />Engineer for faurther discussion, determination and report. <br />Catholic Youth Organization extended their appreciation to the Park Department for their help and cooperation Mad <br />during their camping program at Stulsaft Park. <br />Selby Lane P. T. A. expressed their thanks to the City Manager for his cooperation with their summer school <br />program. <br />The Mayor announced that there would be a study meeting Friday night, September 25ths at 8:00 p. m* to discuss <br />the Truck Route and Parking District problems. The Clerk was asked to send out special notices of the <br />meeting. <br />Councilman Granger brought up the matter of possible County aid in the matter of the flood program created by <br />run-off waters from property outside the limits of Redwood City draining and flooding the Chestnut Street <br />area. Councilman Granger moved that this be referred to the Engineering Department and if they feel that <br />this is a good idea that they take it up with the County, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. (MIN- <br />UTE ORDER #59-148) <br />Councilman Spillers moved to authorize the City Manager to have the Consulting Engineer for the Yacht Harbor <br />development, at no further cost to the City, to tell us how much more money it will take to finish the <br />Yacht Harbor development, seconded by Councilman Rosselli. The motion lost an roL. call with Councilmen <br />Rosselli, Spillers, and Weymouth voting yes and Councilmen Fields, Granger, Herkner and Mayor Royer voting <br />no. <br />Claims 30219 through 30442, totaling $11.0,465.46, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Rosselli, seconded <br />by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />Councilman Fields moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. M. <br />Invocation was led by Reverend Ralph D. York, Woodside Road Community Methodist Church. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Ron W. Fields, Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, <br />John Rosselli., Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Councilman Robert V. Spillers <br />was noted absentp due to the sudden illness of his wife. Also noted present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City <br />Attorney Robert J. Costello, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Traffic Engineer Arthur U. Eskelin, Assis tant Plan- <br />ning Director Leonard Knittel, Police Chief William Faulstich, Planning Director Dick Wilkinson, Assessor -Aud- <br />itor John J. Brophy, Water Superintendent H. L. Minter, Assistant Building Inspector B. C. Gyselbrecht and <br />Deputy City Clerk Vivian Holmquist. <br />
