FRATES petition for exception to the strict application of Section 5.31 of Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision Ordinance.of the City of Redwood Citys in respect to the Southerly 50 feet of Lot 5, Block 10,9 Friendly Acres Subdivision No. is Map No. 505., said property being located at 948 Haven Avenue, to allow two lots of 5000 square feet each, one fronting on the new Rose Avenue extension and one fronting an Haven Avenues instead of the required 6000 squa re feet each. Councilman Weymouth moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2873 DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO EXECTUION ON ITS CNN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY (Lot 7s Block 2s Woodside Knolls)., seconded by Councilman Granger who asked if this was the correct procedure. The Assistant Planning Director stated that this was the quickest way. The Planning Commission is not initiating the proceedings. COMMUNICATIONS: E.E . Stallingss County Managers wrote a letter regarding the meeting on the Bradley -Burns Uniform Sales Tax which is now scheduled for October 8th at 8:00 p. m# in the Supervisors Chambers in the Hall of Justice and Records. San Mateo County Governor's Advisory Committee on Children and Youth will hold a meeting on September 26th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hillsdale High School. Redwood City School District asked for permission to cement the parking strip in f ront of Hawes School on Roosevelt Avenue.
