354 <br />ORDER #59-158), seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2881 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING <br />AND INSTALLATION OF ONE STORM WATER PUMP,, REBWOOD INDUSTRIAL TRACT NO. 2, AND AUTHORIZING CALLING OF BIDS <br />THEREFOR,t seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously on roll calls Councilman Granger and Mayor <br />Royer being noted absent. <br />JULIUS MARIANI REQUEST FOR WATER SERVICE AT lo4l WILMINGTON WAY. The letters of the Health Department and the <br />Water Superintendent were read wherein they recommended that the water connection be permitted. Based on <br />the two recommendations, Councilman Spillers moved to grant the request (MINUTE ORDER #59-159), seconded <br />by Councilman Fields. In answer to a question raised by Councilman Herkner, Water Superintendent Winter <br />stated that in his opinion the granting of this permit would not adversely effect the water system in the <br />area. Councilman Fields moved that the matter be set for public hearing on November <br />2nd, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMVENDATION ON THE PETITION OF JACK,WERNER, JR, AND JACKIE LOU WERNER to amend Section 61 <br />pf Ordinance No. -600 to rezone portion of Lot 3, Block 30, Oak Knoll Manor, located at 642 Canyon Road. <br />Councilman Spillers moved to set the matter for public hearing on November 2nd, seconded by Councilman Fields <br />and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION ON PETITION OF JAMES AND LORETTA HEARLIFff TO amend Section 4,1 of Ordinance <br />No. 600 to rezone from R-1 District to R-3 District portions bf Lots 6, 7 and 8, Finger Park Tract. Coun- <br />cilman Weymouth moved that the metter be set for public hearing on November 2nd, seconded by Councilman <br />Spillers and carried. <br />PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTSresolution of <br />( preliminary, determination). Councilman Spillers moved that this be carried <br />on the agenda until November 2nd (MINUTE ORDER #59.160), seconded by Councilman Weymouth. The question was <br />raised as to the reason for the delay. It was explained that the documents were not prepared. The motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RSSOLUTION NO. 2886 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR WEED ABATEMENT IN THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF SPRAYING WORK IN <br />CONNECTION WITH WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried unanimously on roll call, <br />Councilman Granger and Mayor Royer being noted absent. _ <br />Councilman Weymouth moved that the motions previously made setting the following matter for public hearing on <br />November 2nd be repealed; petition of Giovania Bounaudi to rezone the northeasterly one-half of Lot 16,, <br />
