4_20 <br />Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2998 BEING THE RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND <br />MODIFICATIONS PARKING DISTRICT NO. 1 (public hearing April 4th), seconded by Councilman Weymouth and car- <br />ried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2999 AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF BUDGET PROPOSAL TO THE DEPART- <br />MENT CF PUBLIC WORKS, FOR FUNDS ALLOCATED UNDER SECTION 2107.5 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, seconded by <br />Councilman Fields and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />w.i <br />Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 3000 APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS AL- <br />LOCATED UNDER SECTION 2107.5 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CCDE, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF, seconded <br />by Councilman Granger and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Spillers moved to authorize the City Clerk to accept and record a revised deed from the Sisters of <br />Saint Francis, Mount Alverno, for roadway and water main purposes, portion of Lot 36, Block 509, Highlands -J <br />of Emerald Lake Subdivision Five (MINUTE ORDER #60-62), seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />Councilman Fields moved to authorize the City Clerk to accept and record a grant deed from the Sisters of Saint <br />Francis, Mount Alverno, for a 5t easement for the purpose of maintaining and operating a water tank site and <br />appurtenant utilities, and constructing and maintaining a fence, together with the right of ingress and egress, <br />portion of Lot 36, Block 509, Highlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision Five (MINUTE ORDER #60-63), seconded by <br />Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS IN FARM HILL NO. 4. It is recommended that the improvements in Farm Hill No. 4 be <br />accepted subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) One year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. <br />(2) Payment by the subdivider, Oddstad Homes, of all engineering and inspection charges due the City. <br />(3) Furnishing of tracings of as -built plans. <br />(4) Raising of wa ter valve frame and cover on Harvest Drive to pavement grade. <br />Councilman Spillers moved to accept the improvements subject to the above mentioned conditions (MINUTE <br />ORDER #60-64):, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />DR. JACK WERNER, JR. PETITION FOR EXCEPTION TO ORDINANCE NO. 631, THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, WITH RESPECT TO <br />PORTION OF LOT 3, BLOCK 30, OAK KNOLL MANOR. Section 5.31 requires a minimum of 501 frontage on a dedicated, <br />improved street and the exception desired is 151 frontage for access to one lot. This exception was rec- <br />ommended by the Planning Commission, Councilman Spillers moved to grant the exception and moved adoption <br />of RESOLUTION N0. 3001 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUB- <br />DIVISION ORDINANCE CF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried, unanimously on <br />roll call. <br />Councilman Granger moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3002 WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS "ALDEN SUBDIVISION" <br />FROM MENLO PARK LIGHTING DISTRICT, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Spillers moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3003 WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS " REDWOOD <br />VILIAGE"'FROM MENLO PARK LIGHTING DISTRICT, seeded by Councilman Fields and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO..3004 AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE CF REVOCABLE PERMIT TO PACIFIC GAS <br />AND ELECTRIC COMPANY (allows the PG&E to maintain overhead public utility wires across that property owned by <br />the City of Redwood City and described as Parcel Two in that deed from Oddstad Homes to the City of Redwood <br />City recorded in Volume 3339, page 693, Official Records, San Mateo County - Farm Hill Blvd. near Jefferson <br />Avenue to service apartment houses), seconded by Councilman hosselli and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Fields moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO, 3005 REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS AND CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES THEREON (Domer property - <br />extension of Rose Avenue)' seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />
