Councilman Granger moved to author- <br />ize the City Attorney to prepare the necessary agreement (MINUTE ORDER #60-89), seconded by Councilman <br />Rosselli and carried. <br />Claim f or alleged damage and injury to Heitert William Church, 611 Lancaster Way, resulting from f all <br />onthe sidewalk in the vicinity of Hopkins Avenue and El Oamino Real. Councilman Spillers moved to <br />tar <br />dwW the claim and referred it to the insurance carrier (MINUTE ORDER #60-90), seconded by Councilman <br />Weymouth and carried. <br />G. E Browning, Regional Engineer of the State of California Department of Public Health, commending <br />the staff at the Sewage Plant for their attitude, aptitude and accomplishments. Rosselli, Robert V. Spillers, Ray Weymouth, <br />Mayor William H.R oyer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge, CouncilmanIbn W. Fields was noted absent. Also <br />present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, George Fakhouri, representing <br />P. C. A., Frank Brinkman representing the Chamber of Commerce, Dick Wilkinson, and Ferris Miles, General <br />Chairman of the Six Year Plan Committee. <br />.. The affidavit of notice of meeting was ordered filed. <br />low DISCUSSION REGARDING PROPOSED AUDITORIUM. It was noted that an additional survey by Stanford Research <br />Institute would cost $5000 and would take several weeks. S. R. I. has agreed to sit in with City <br />personnel in an advisory capacity to cost approximately $700. Council was not fully in accord with the <br />above proposal• George Fakhouri stated that the P. C. A. is not requesting an additional survey but <br />was prepared to proceed with the inforamtion now available. <br />After further discussion, it was decided that the Planning Department under Dick Wilkinson would <br />accumulate all information possible to be completed by April 1 in time to be circularized among the <br />voters. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING SALARY RANGE FCR CITY MANAGER'S SECRETARY. Discussion covered the passibility of <br />transferring into the Auditor's office the purchasing. Transfer of personnel would result in a small <br />
