Claim f or alleged damage and injury to Heitert William Church, 611 Lancaster Way, resulting from f all onthe sidewalk in the vicinity of Hopkins Avenue and El Oamino Real. Councilman Spillers moved to tar dwW the claim and referred it to the insurance carrier (MINUTE ORDER #60-90), seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. G. E Browning, Regional Engineer of the State of California Department of Public Health, commending the staff at the Sewage Plant for their attitude, aptitude and accomplishments. Also enclosed with the letter was a memorandum prepared covering a sanitary survey of the sewage disposal facilities. Claims 321.42 through 322619 totaling $141,183*42, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Rosselli, sec- onded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. It was noted that an additional survey by Stanford Research Institute would cost $5000 and would take several weeks. S. R. I. has agreed to sit in with City personnel in an advisory capacity to cost approximately $700. Council was not fully in accord with the above proposal• George Fakhouri stated that the P. C. A. is not requesting an additional survey but was prepared to proceed with the inforamtion now available. After further discussion, it was decided that the Planning Department under Dick Wilkinson would accumulate all information possible to be completed by April 1 in time to be circularized among the voters.
