486 <br />ANTHONY J. FRATES AND MARY A. FRATES request exception to Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision <br />Ordinance, in respect to the Northerly half of Lot 6, Block 10, Friendly Acres No. 1. <br />(Lot faces Rose Avenue and 940 Haven Avenue.) Section 5.31 requires a minimum of 6,000 <br />square feet and the exception desired is 5,200 square feet in lot area. <br />The Planning Commission recommends the granting of these exceptions and recommends that <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City authorize the Planning Commission to approve the <br />tentative map of Anthony J. Frates and Mary A. Frates with the exceptions and conditions <br />hereon noted: 2 lots each to contain 5,000 square feet of lot area instead of required <br />6,000 square feet located in an R-2 District, Duplex Family Residential District. <br />The Planning Commission further recommends that the exception be subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />(a) All laws, codes, regulations, resolutions, ordinances, and/or parts thereof, <br />other than as directly and expressly adjusted by the terms of the exception <br />granted, shall be strictly complied with. <br />(b) Approved in accordance with the application. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3127 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN <br />PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman <br />Stehle being noted absent. <br />EDGAR W. WILSON AND MARGARET L. WILSON requests exception to Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision <br />Ordinance, in respect to protion of Lot 3, Block 6, Friendly Acres No. 2, at 975-B 15th .rJ <br />Avenue, one facing on 15th Avenue and the other lot facing Rose Avenue. Section 5.31 <br />requires a minimum of 6,000 square feet and the exception desired is 5,200 square feet <br />in lot area. <br />The Planning Commission recommends the granting of these exceptions and recommends that <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City authorize the Planning Commission to approve <br />the tentative map of Edgar W. Wilson and Margaret L. Wilson with the exceptions and <br />conditions hereon noted: one lot to contain 5,200 square feet instead of the required <br />6,000 in an R-2 District, Duplex Family Residential District. <br />The Planning Commission further recommends that the exception be subject to the follow- <br />ing conditions: <br />(a) All laws, codes, regulations, resolutions, ordinances, and/or parts thereof, <br />other than as directly and expressly adjusted by the terms of the exception <br />granted, shall be strictly complied with. <br />(b) A 95 foot depth instead of the requested 90 feet - because it adds additional area <br />to the unimproved lot and it will keep the rear property lines in the block <br />more uniform. <br />Councilman Royer moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3128 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN .. <br />PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman <br />Stehle being noted absent. <br />
