THOMPSON AND DOROTHY MAE THOMPSON requests exception to Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision Ordinance, in respect to the Sly z of Lot 4, Block 10, 505 Friendly Acres Subdivision No. 1, located at 960 Haven Avenue, in an R-2 District, one lot facing Haven and one lot to face Rose Avenue. The Planning Commission recommends the granting of these exceptions and recommends that the Council of the City of Redwood City authorize the Planning Commission to approve the tentative map of George E. Thompson and Dorothy Mae Thompson with the exceptions and conditions hereon noted: 2 lots each to contain 5,000 square feet P"" instead of the required 6,000 located in an R-2, Duplex Family Residential District. The Planning Commission further recommends that the exception be subject to the following conditions: (a) All laws, codes, regulations, resolutions, ordinances, and/or parts thereof, other than as directly and expressly adjusted by the terms of the exception granted, shall be strictly complied with. (b) Approved in accordance with the application. Councilman Fields moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3129 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. IRENE BERNI requests exception to Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision Ordinance, in respect to the southeasterly one-half front and rear measurements of Lot 26, Lee Tract at 74 Nueva Street with double frontage the rear facing on Orchard Avenue, one lot with 112 foot depth with existing buildings, the other 90 feet in depth, now vacant. Section 5.31 requires a minimum of 6,000 square feet and the exception desired is 5,000 square feet in lot area. The Planning Commission recommends the granting of these exceptions and recommends that the Council of the City of Redwood City authorize the Planning Commission to approve the tentative map of Irene Berni with the exceptions and conditions hereon noted: 2 lots each 101' x 50' instead of the required 6,000 square feet. The planning Commission further recommends that the exception be subject to the follow - Pon" ing conditions: (a) All laws, codes, regulations, resolutions, ordinances, and/or / parts thereof, other than as directly and expressly adjusted by the terms of the exception granted, shall be strictly complied with. (b) Existing structures to be removed before a second building permit is issued. Councilman Granger moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3130 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on roll call, Councilmen Fields, Granger, Herkner, Royer and Mayor Weymouth voting yes, Councilman Rosselli voting no and Councilman Stehle being noted absent. 9
