THOMPSON AND DOROTHY MAE THOMPSON requests exception to Ordinance No. 631, the <br />Subdivision Ordinance, in respect to the Sly z of Lot 4, Block 10, 505 Friendly Acres <br />Subdivision No. 1, located at 960 Haven Avenue, in an R-2 District, one lot facing <br />Haven and one lot to face Rose Avenue. <br />The Planning Commission recommends the granting of these exceptions and recommends <br />that the Council of the City of Redwood City authorize the Planning Commission to <br />approve the tentative map of George E. Thompson and Dorothy Mae Thompson with the <br />exceptions and conditions hereon noted: 2 lots each to contain 5,000 square feet <br />P"" <br />instead of the required 6,000 located in an R-2, Duplex Family Residential District. <br />The Planning Commission further recommends that the exception be subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />(a) All laws, codes, regulations, resolutions, ordinances, and/or parts thereof, <br />other than as directly and expressly adjusted by the terms of the exception <br />granted, shall be strictly complied with. <br />(b) Approved in accordance with the application. <br />Councilman Fields moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3129 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO <br />CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call, <br />Councilman Stehle being noted absent. <br />IRENE BERNI requests exception to Ordinance No. 631, the Subdivision Ordinance, in respect <br />to the southeasterly one-half front and rear measurements of Lot 26, Lee Tract at 74 <br />Nueva Street with double frontage the rear facing on Orchard Avenue, one lot with 112 <br />foot depth with existing buildings, the other 90 feet in depth, now vacant. Section <br />5.31 requires a minimum of 6,000 square feet and the exception desired is 5,000 square <br />feet in lot area. <br />The Planning Commission recommends the granting of these exceptions and recommends <br />that the Council of the City of Redwood City authorize the Planning Commission to <br />approve the tentative map of Irene Berni with the exceptions and conditions hereon <br />noted: 2 lots each 101' x 50' instead of the required 6,000 square feet. <br />The planning Commission further recommends that the exception be subject to the follow - <br />Pon" ing conditions: <br />(a) All laws, codes, regulations, resolutions, ordinances, and/or / parts thereof, other <br />than as directly and expressly adjusted by the terms of the exception granted, <br />shall be strictly complied with. <br />(b) Existing structures to be removed before a second building permit is issued. <br />Councilman Granger moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3130 AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO <br />CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried on roll call, Councilmen <br />Fields, Granger, Herkner, Royer and Mayor Weymouth voting yes, Councilman Rosselli <br />voting no and Councilman Stehle being noted absent. <br />9 <br />
