She urged Council to cortmit themselves <br /> to construction of a senior center. <br /> Nina Mae Mattus, President, Fun After Fifty, <br /> suggested t�at businesses located near a senior <br /> center might benefit from its location. <br /> Berniece Ziese, Past President, Fun After Fifty, <br /> 1 3 C�d err#to, advised that the club has 1100 <br /> Redwood City members who must be accommodated <br /> and urged the Veterans Building be remodelled <br /> and improved in order to do so. <br /> Frances Osborn, 205 Wins}ow, suggested the <br /> social nee s of the many seniors in Redwood <br /> City must be considered. <br /> Rudolph Plate, 959 Emerald Hill Road, thanked <br /> Mayor Barrett for introducing his recommenda- <br /> tion and urged Council to attempt to get a <br /> center for use of seniors. <br /> �..., Mayor Barrett invited anyone else present who <br /> wished to speak to do so.
