Mayor Keckley announced a joint meeting of the Port Commission and the City Council <br /> will be held at 7 : 30 p . m . , Tuesday , February 5 in the Port Administration Building , <br /> 775 Harbor Boulevard , Redwood City . <br /> Mayor Keckley also announced that a joint meeting of the Parks and Recreation Com- <br /> mission will be held at 7 : 30 p . m . on Thursday , February 21 , the location to be <br /> announced later . <br /> MOTION : Titles having been read , Councilman Norris moved , seconded by Councilman <br /> Williams , approval of all of the following items and adoption of the appropriate <br /> ordinance and resolution : <br /> Ordinance No . 1590 Appropriating $ 110 , 000 from Unappropriated Balance of <br /> Federal Revenue Sharing Fund to Provide for Certain Real Property to Be <br /> Used for Park Purposes ( first reading 1/14/74 ) <br /> Resolution No . 7101 Authorizing City C1e rk to Accept Grants or Deeds on <br /> Behalf of the City of Redwood City , and Rescinding Resolution No . 7030 <br /> Personal injury claim : Linda S . Shultz and Christopher S . Shultz , <br /> 315 Sequoia Avenue , Redwood City , for personal injuries allegedly caused <br /> when car was rear ended by City mini -bus . Recommend denial and refer to <br /> insurance carrier . (MINUTE ORDER NO , 74 - 15 ) <br /> Property damage claim : Edward H . Wood , 1180 Grant Street , Redwood City , <br /> for reimbursement of plumbing expense allegedly caused by blockage of <br /> City portion of sewer line . Recommend denial and refer to insurance <br /> carriers (MINUTE ORDER NO , 74- 16) <br /> Approval of warrants nos . 3655 through 3776 , totaling $ 170 , 575 . 21 . <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote . <br /> Solid Waste Management Planning <br /> Mayor Keckley announced that Councilman Williams has accepted the appointment to <br /> the Solid Waste Advisory Committee which will be functioning in connection with <br /> preparation of the County-wide comprehensive , coordinated solid waste management <br /> plan , The first meeting of the Committee will take place on Thursday , February 7 <br /> at 3 : 00 p . m . in the Hall of Justice . <br /> Adjournment <br /> MOTION : Councilman Rhodes moved , seconded by Councilman Norris , to adjourn . <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . <br /> The Council adjourned at 9 : 00 p . m . <br /> Jacqueline C .
