� � 9 <br /> (Recommendations contained in Ltgislative Committee <br /> Report No. 7�-8 are as follows: <br /> l. that a, Charter Review Committee be established <br /> ""�" to consist of the membera of the Legislative <br /> Committee and seven citizen members who are <br /> "'�'' electors of the City, one each of whom shall <br /> be nominated by each Council member, with the <br /> first meeting of the Charter Review Committee <br /> to be scheduled for 7 :30 a.m. , Tuesday, <br /> September 17, 1974; <br /> 2. that the City not contribute to funding any <br /> portion of the costs of candidate 's statements <br /> of qualifications in general municipal elec- <br /> tions; <br /> 3. that Council supports SB 180�4 re retired <br /> employee benefits; <br /> 4. that Council reaffirms its support of SB 2133; <br /> opposes AB 1112; reaffirms its opposition to <br /> AB 1800; and opposes AB 3666, all relating to <br /> employer-employee relations; and <br /> 5. that Council supports amendments to the Land <br /> and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 which <br /> would : (a) raise the annual authorization <br /> +� level of the fund to a level commensurate with <br /> the need to acquire urban open space; (b) raise <br /> �,,, the Federal matching s are for development to <br /> 60,�6', and for acquisition to 70g�; (c) change the <br /> state apportionment formula to provide that 20g6 <br /> of the allocations shall be a.pportioned equally <br /> among the states, 759� apportioned according to <br /> need (including factors of total state popula- <br /> tion and urban area population) , with 5�6 to be <br /> reserved to meet emergency a.nd research needs; <br /> (d) require annual review of each state ' s <br /> program to implement statewide recreation plans <br /> with sub-state areawide review, including par- <br /> ticipation by local elected officials in the <br /> evaluation of the demand for and supply of, <br /> recreation resources, development of the state <br /> plan, and development of state procedural re- <br /> quirements; and (e) allow up to 2596 of each <br /> state ' s apportionment to be used to enclose <br /> outdoor recreation facilities or construct <br /> indoor recreation centers as needed. ) <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 7�+-159) <br /> � <br /> Final Map A�plication - <br /> '� Re wood S ores Town ouse Develo ment <br /> J. . ny er - Mar n Su v s on No. 4) <br /> Director of Public Works Pusich requested that on page <br /> 5, item 7 of the proposed agreement regarding the sub- <br /> �ect application that the reference to box culverts be <br /> _3_ <br /> 8%26%74� <br />
