EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant shall prepare for the City, topographic survey base maps as outlined in this agreement. Base maps will be utilized during the design stage of upcoming Alameda Del Las Pulgas Sidewalk Improvement Project to determine all necessary physical features within the project limits and the project scope as listed, but not limited to below. 1 .1 SCOPE OF WORK: The Consultant is to provide the following Scope of Services described herein as the minimum necessary to meet the city's objectives. The Consultant is expected to expand on the scope by incorporating their expertise and may provide additional services that are not included in the work with the consent of the City's Engineer. The preparation of base map by the Consultant shall include, but not limited to the following: 1 . Ground Survey: Topographic survey shall include all physical features within the project limit and project scope listed below, include also any grade breaks or man made improvements not listed: a. Sanitary sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe diameters, sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts and sanitary sewer (main and lateral) lines. Locate and determine exact locations of existing sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts as much as possible. b. Storm drain or storm sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe diameters, drain inlets bottom , drain inlets pipe inverts, catch basin grate elevations and storm drain lines. c. Water valve boxes, meter boxes, anode boxes, fire hydrants and water (main and service) lines. Remove valve covers and measure the distance to the top of the valve nuts. d . Gas valve boxes and gas (service and main) lines. e. Traffic signal boxes, street light boxes, utility vaults, electrical poles, loop detectors, traffic sign posts, street lights, and electrical lines . f. Cable TV boxes, Cable TV lines, telephone poles, telephone lines and overhead lines. g. Fiber optics communication lines. h . Street monuments. i. Tax assessors' lot lines, property line or lot boundaries, right-of-way lines and house addresses (approximate from City Block Books and County Recorder/Maps office). j . Curb & gutter, sidewalks, driveways and wheelchair ramps within the right of way with minimum diameter 6-inches at breast height and street facing fences within the right of way.
