EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall prepare for the City, topographic survey base maps as outlined in this <br /> agreement. Base maps will be utilized during the design stage of upcoming Alameda <br /> Del Las Pulgas Sidewalk Improvement Project to determine all necessary physical <br /> features within the project limits and the project scope as listed, but not limited to below. <br /> 1 .1 SCOPE OF WORK: <br /> The Consultant is to provide the following Scope of Services described herein as the <br /> minimum necessary to meet the city's objectives. The Consultant is expected to expand <br /> on the scope by incorporating their expertise and may provide additional services that <br /> are not included in the work with the consent of the City's Engineer. <br /> The preparation of base map by the Consultant shall include, but not limited to the <br /> following: <br /> 1 . Ground Survey: Topographic survey shall include all physical features within the <br /> project limit and project scope listed below, include also any grade breaks or man <br /> made improvements not listed: <br /> a. Sanitary sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe diameters, <br /> sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts and sanitary sewer (main and lateral) lines. <br /> Locate and determine exact locations of existing sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts <br /> as much as possible. <br /> b. Storm drain or storm sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts at manhole, pipe <br /> diameters, drain inlets bottom , drain inlets pipe inverts, catch basin grate <br /> elevations and storm drain lines. <br /> c. Water valve boxes, meter boxes, anode boxes, fire hydrants and water (main <br /> and service) lines. Remove valve covers and measure the distance to the top of <br /> the valve nuts. <br /> d . Gas valve boxes and gas (service and main) lines. <br /> e. Traffic signal boxes, street light boxes, utility vaults, electrical poles, loop <br /> detectors, traffic sign posts, street lights, and electrical lines . <br /> f. Cable TV boxes, Cable TV lines, telephone poles, telephone lines and overhead <br /> lines. <br /> g. Fiber optics communication lines. <br /> h . Street monuments. <br /> i. Tax assessors' lot lines, property line or lot boundaries, right-of-way lines and <br /> house addresses (approximate from City Block Books and County <br /> Recorder/Maps office). <br /> j .
