361 COMMUNICATIONS : ( a ) Written - Copies submitted to Council . 1 . Redwood Shores Homeowners Association expressing concern for lack of landscaping of the traffic circle on Pennant Court and suggest- ing other recommendations . Mayor Keckley asked that this be referred to staff for report back to Council ( Memo 4/143 ) ( b ) Oral : 1 . Pastor Jacqueline Thomshaw , Word of Life Fellowship , thanked Council for the privilege of delivering the invocations for April , and indicated she wished to acquaint them with their church , which was new and located in downtown Redwood City . Their aim is to help troubled young people , and they are working with the County Drug Abuse Resource Directory . She described some of the successes they have had in helping these people to overcome their drug addiction and assume normal lives , ( c ) John Milwitt , 29 Clinton Street , indicated he wished to speak with regard to his damage claim . ( Consent Calendar Ttem ( b ) ) City Attorney indicated that Council could entertain the request to speak on the item ; however , in the context of a claim, he cautioned Council that any response would be inappropriate due to the fact it might prejudice any judicial proceedings or in the relationship with the insurance carrier for the City . Mr . Milwitt spoke at length regarding the basis for his claim and was critical of the way employees in various departments dealt with him . He asked for an appointment with the City Manager . City Manager advised that an appointment could be set up , however , he stated that he would prefer that at the same time , to have any com- plaints regarding City personnel in writing , including names , dates , places and actions alleged to have happened , which Mr . Milwitt agreed to do . ( Memo 4/24/73 ) Councilman Henderson moved to adjourn to an Adjourned Regular Meeting on May 5 , 1973 , 9 : 00 a . m . , Veterans Memorial Building , 11455 Madison Avenue , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried .
