0 <br /> Councilman Leipzig moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6908 AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING PURCHASE OF CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED <br /> ALONG THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF MARSHALL STREET BETWEEN MAIN AND WALNUT <br /> STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , CALIFORNIA ; AND AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING PUUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE SAID PROPERTY , <br /> and to introduce Ordinance appropriating S150 , 450 from unappropriated <br /> balance of Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund to provide for <br /> acquisition of real property interests and related services for proposed <br /> extension of Spring Street , seconded by Councilman Norris and carried on <br /> roll call vote , Councilmen Weymouth and Williams abstaining , and Mayor <br /> Keckley being noted absent . <br /> Vice -Mayor Henderson noted meeting to be held the next night , May 8 , of the <br /> Fair Oaks Neighborhood Facility Advisory Board , and need for Council ' s <br /> adjournment to an adjourned meeting . City Attorney advised that purpose <br /> of meeting was to interview , and get acquainted with , candidates and give <br /> explanations what job entails . Thereafter to be able to make recommenda- <br /> tions to Council for ratification of City ' s nominees for appointment . It <br /> was suggested that there was still time to submit names for consideration <br /> as nominees for appointment to the Board , and more suggestions would be <br /> welcome . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to cancel Regular Meeting of May 14 , 1973 , and <br /> adjourn to an. Adjourned Regular Meeting , 8 : 00 p . m . , May 8th , Veterans <br /> Memorial Building , 1455 Madison Avenue , seconded by Councilman Rhodes <br /> and carried .
