419 street there was considerable amount of traffic , and that the children constantly played in the street . In the ensuing discussion , it was brought out that the small park at Chestnut and Middlefield was specifically geared for little children as it was felt the older children would be able to utilize the Hoover School playground . It was clarified that the discussion was in terms of a " green area type park" . The Manager indicated that the need for that type of park for several neighborhoods had been known , but the ability to acquire a reasonably large piece of land or a piece of land that could be added on to at a later date had presented a problem . He suggested that , if Council wished, he would refer it to Staff and would attempt to get together with the people of the neighborhood immediately and would also assess the situation and the suggestions that were made and bring back to the Council information in terms of estimated resources that would have to be committed in order to get started at some given point in the reasonably near future . It was noted at this point that before the information would come back to Council it would have gone before the Park and Recreation Commission and it was hoped that the people in- terested in this subject would be able to attend the Commission meetings . ( Memo 6/7/73 ) 6 . Mr . Frank Milatzo , 581 Pine Street , #6-A , Redwood City , expressed concern about the reckless driving of the County Sheriff ' s Department in the residential area . It was suggested that Mr . Milatzo give the City Manager the complete details of the time of day , car numbers and the area wherein this occurred after the meeting and he would follow through on the inci- dent . ( Memo 6/7/73 ) Councilman Norris moved to adjourn the meeting to an Executive Session , to discuss a matter of litigation at 9 : 55 p . m . , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and carried . Regular meeting reconvened at 10 : 16 p . m . Councilman Rhodes thereafter read in full RESOLUTION NO . 6923 COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF PHILIP BRAY , former Police Officer , and moved Council adjournment in his memory by adoption thereof , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call vote .
