444 <br /> Referral was made to the Planning Director ' s report , page 6 , regarding the "Use <br /> Preference Survey " and the listing of Arrangement A , B , and C , highlighting <br /> the survey made of City department heads on what type of development they regarded <br /> as most economically desirable for the City , in terms of the least amount of <br /> extra expenditure , new facilities , equipment and/or personnel . <br /> The meeting was summed up with the thought that if City Council and Planning <br /> Commission would become stimulated over the presentations made at their joint <br /> meetings regarding the public policy and the City ' s problems , with reference to <br /> the decisions that would have to be made , then the meetings would be headed <br /> toward the right direction and purpose . <br /> Discussion was held as to the further need of joint meetings and as to the <br /> desirability of more frequent meetings or quarterly meetings . It was decided <br /> the next joint meeting would be July 17 , 1973 , at 7 : 00 p . m . at the Community <br /> Activities Building , 1400 Roosevelt , with two items on the agenda , 1 ) results <br /> of the SCSP meeting that was being set up , and 2 ) discussions in detail on the <br /> dilemma being experienced in terms of leading to some specific decisions on what <br /> City should do between now and the time a decision on the Emerald Hills Land Use <br /> was made . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to cancel the Regular Council Meeting of July 2nd , <br /> 1973 , and adjournment , seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried . <br /> (MINUTE ORDER #73 -84 ) <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10 : 16 p . m . <br /> 6/19/73 MARIAN McCRINDLE <br /> City Clerk <br /> Adjd .
