C . , in <br /> which she felt it was important to participate . She asked Council <br /> approval for her attendance , requesting for the purpose of travel <br /> time the dates of March 4-7 , 1973 . Mayor Keckley indicated that <br /> he tentatively planned to attend , and also requested approval of <br /> Council . Councilmen Leipzig and Norris advised they would like <br /> to attend , also , and were asking for Council approval . <br /> Councilman Henderson noted that she had discussed this with the <br /> City Controller , and found that there were funds budgeted . <br /> Councilman Weymouth observed that there had already been one <br /> National conference this fiscal year , and felt that no more <br /> than two Councilmen should attend the meeting in Washington . <br /> Councilman Williams agreed , and suggested that it might be better <br /> to defer decision on the matter for two weeks in order to deter- <br /> mine the number of Councilmen who should be permitted to go . <br /> Councilman Henderson felt it would be desirable to permit those <br /> Councilmen able to attend to do so , as it would be an advantage <br /> for Redwood City . She pointed out also that there was a deadline <br /> for reservations . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Item ( f) , to grant <br /> approval for attendance by Councilmen Leipzig , Norris , Henderson and <br /> 1/22/73 <br />
