She asked that Council members notify the City Manager ' s secretary so that the Park and Recreation Commission can have an indication of attendance . Councilman Norris , Chairman of the Waterfront Committee , noted a conflict in meeting times which would prevent participation by some members , and advised that the meeting of August 8th was cancelled , the next meeting to be August 16th , as scheduled .
