262 <br /> There being no communications or discussion , Councilman Weymouth <br /> moved to close the public hearing , seconded by Councilman <br /> Henderson and carried . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6853 VACATING <br /> AND ABANDONING EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAINAGE <br /> PURPOSES IN LOT 15 , BLOCK 206 "HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE SUB- <br /> DIVISION TWO , " REDWOOD CITY , seconded by Councilman Henderson <br /> and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Rhodes being noted <br /> absent . <br /> APPROVAL OF FINAL MAP , "THE WINDSOR " , 257 Arlington Road , with <br /> exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance . Planning Commission <br /> had considered the application of Edward B . Coffman, for approval <br /> of Final Map for this property , at their meeting of December 13 , <br /> 1972 , and unanimously recommended approval by Council , subject <br /> to authorization of certain exceptions to subdivision regulations . <br /> Copies of Planning Commission and Environmental Impact Reports had <br /> been provided to Council . Councilman Norris noted that a recommen- <br /> dation by the Planning Staff in the report was that approval be <br /> subject to a condition that a homeowners association be organized , <br /> and Planning Director advised that the recommendation was fulfilled <br /> by preparation of restrictions and convenants submitted with the <br /> Final Map , <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6854 GRANTING <br /> EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY - EDWARD B . COFFMAN - AND APPROVING AND ACCEPT- <br /> ING THE FINAL MAP "THE WINDSOR " SUBDIVISION, REDWOOD CITY, seconded <br /> by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote , Councilman <br /> Rhodes being noted absent . <br /> Continuted PUBLIC HEARING , Appeal of John E . McCarthy & Sons , Inc . , <br /> from denial by the Planning Commission of application for approval <br /> of a Tentative Map of Atherwood Unit No . 2 , with exceptions to the <br /> Subdivision Ordinance , declared open and affidavit of publication <br /> ordered filed . <br /> Public Hearing had been continued , without opening, from Council <br /> meetings of October 9 and December 4 , 19 72 , and again at request <br /> of appellants , from meeting of December 11 , 1972 , to this date , <br /> Planning Commission and Environmental Impact Reports had been <br /> submitted to Council . <br /> 1/8/73 <br />
