Phillip Thompson , 14 Greenwood Place , <br /> Menlo Park, stated that he owned a lot in <br /> the hillside area of the City, and asked <br /> whether there had been an effort to con- <br /> tact absentee owners within the City . <br /> Mr . Halsted responded that there was no differentiation made between in- <br /> corporated and unincorporated areas , with respect to notification . In <br /> answer to question by Vice-Mayor Henderson, he advised further that the <br /> process of seeking out names of owners was by reference to the County <br /> Assessor ' s records , and there were approximately 550 absentee owners . <br /> Following brief additional discussion, Councilman Leipzig moved to accept <br /> the Report and to refer to the Planning Commission for public hearing <br /> procedures , and referral back to Council , seconded by Councilman Rhodes <br /> and carried . Grotewohl , 3060 Broadway , property damage allegedly due <br /> to negligent operation of municipal bus . ( Council action would deny <br /> claims and refer to insurance carrier . ) <br /> (MINUTE ORDERS #73-44-A and #73-44--B ) <br /> ( 3 ) Lorna Dawn Miller , 3015 E . Bayshore , appeal to allow late filing <br /> ( claim originally denied for late filing on February 26 , 1973 ) .
