475 <br /> Motion that the Council adjourn sine die for the purpose of reorganization <br /> was made by Councilman Petersen , seconded by Councilman Henderson and <br /> carried . <br /> City Clerk administered Oaths of Office and presented Certificates of Election to <br /> the newly elected members of the City Council : Marguerite Leipzig , Robert <br /> E . Norris , Ray A . Weymouth and James S . Williams . <br /> The newly elected Council was called to order by the City Clerk, who then requested <br /> that Council enter nominations for election of Mayor , to preside for the <br /> next two years . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved that a unanimous ballot be cast for election of <br /> Paul C . Keckley as Mayor of Redwood City for the next two years , seconded <br /> by Councilman Weymouth and carried . <br /> Mayor Keckley responded with expressions of appreciation to Council and <br /> in recognition of the responsibilities entailed . <br /> Mayor Keckley invited retiring Mayor Robert H . Bury and Councilman Herbert G . <br /> Petersen to the podium for presentations on behalf of Council of plaques <br /> inscribed for each with dates of service to the City , as follows : "Robert <br /> H . Bury , in appreciation of your services to City of Redwood City - Councilman , <br /> 1964-1972 ; Vice Mayor , 1966-1968 ; Mayor 1968- 1970 and 1970 -1972 " . "Herbert <br /> G . Petersen , in appreciation of your services to City of Redwood City - <br /> Councilman 1964-1972 ; Vice Mayor 1968 -1970 . " Mr. Bury and Mr . Petersen <br /> received the awards with thanks to Council and for the opportunity to have <br /> served . <br /> Mayor Keckley called the meeting to order , and on ROLL CALL for the newly seated <br /> Council , the following were noted present : Councilmen Mary W. Henderson , <br /> Marguerite Leipzig , Robert E . Norris , William C . Rhodes , Ray A . Weymouth , <br /> James S . Williams and Mayor Paul C . Keckley . <br /> Mayor Keckley requested nominations for Vice Mayor as first order of business . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to cast unanimous ballot for election of. Mary W . <br /> Henderson as Vice Mayor , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6707 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO REVOCABLE PERMIT FOR USE OF CERTAIN CITY-OWNED <br /> PROPERTIES ( SAN FRANCISCO WATER DEPARTMENT) , seconded by Councilman Henderson . <br /> Council had previously approved revocable permit by Resolution No . 6528 on <br /> June 7 , 1971 . Completion date , as requested by San Francisco Water Department , <br /> 4-17-72 <br />
