Gertrude McKinley , 9 Acacia Lane , personal injuries allegedly caused by fall on defective City sidewalk . Councilman Henderson noted that while she was continuing on the Advisory Board of the State Strong Motion Instrumentation Program and the Governor ' s Earthquake Council , both of these groups will fund expenses of members and local governments will no longer be required to pay . COMMUNICATIONS : ( a ) Written - Copies were submitted to Council : 1 . Request of Wayne McFadden , as Attorney for Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, for opportunity to be heard at Council Meeting of May 1st . Mayor Keckley suggested that if agreeable to council this request be placed on next week ' s agenda (May 8 , 1972 ) , and advised that Mr . McFadden had indicated to him that this concerned an urgent matter that he wished brought before Council concerning burgeoning taxes of the citizens of Redwood Shores , and that he had a presentation he would like to make .
