( Council action would be to accept <br /> the project , subject to the usual one-year guarantee of materials and workmanship , <br /> and to authorize recordation of Notice of Acceptance . ) (MINUTE ORDER #72-95 ) <br /> ( b ) DAMAGE CLAIMS : ( 1 ) Christopher L. Simonian , 2630 Goodwin Ave . , reimbursement of <br /> costs for damages allegedly due to action of City employees ; ( 2 ) Mrs . Gertrude <br /> McKinley , 9 Acacia Lane , personal injuries allegedly caused by fall on defective <br /> City sidewalk . ( Council action would deny the claims and refer to insurance <br /> carrier . ) (MINUTE ORDERS #72-96--A and #72-96-B ) <br /> ( c ) ACCOUNTS PAYABLE , Nos . 89872 to 89979 , inclusive , totaling $87 , 736 . 53 . ( Council <br /> action would approve accounts for payment by City ) . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items ( a ) through ( c ) , seconded <br /> by Councilman Leipzig and carried . Councilman Henderson noted that while she was <br /> continuing on the Advisory Board of the State Strong Motion Instrumentation Program <br /> and the Governor ' s Earthquake Council , both of these groups will fund expenses of <br /> members and local governments will no longer be required to pay . <br /> COMMUNICATIONS : <br /> ( a ) Written - Copies were submitted to Council : <br /> 1 . Request of Wayne McFadden , as Attorney for Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, <br /> for opportunity to be heard at Council Meeting of May 1st . <br /> Mayor Keckley suggested that if agreeable to council <br /> this request be placed on next week ' s agenda (May 8 , 1972 ) , <br /> and advised that Mr . McFadden had indicated to him that <br /> this concerned an urgent matter that he wished brought before <br /> Council concerning burgeoning taxes of the citizens of <br /> Redwood Shores , and that he had a presentation he would <br /> like to make . <br /> Councilman Rhodes moved to place the request of Wayne McFadden on the agenda of <br /> May 8 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Norris and carried .
