They <br /> were proceeding and the City had not been informed . Mayor Keckley noted <br /> that he was also concerned about Edgewood Road , and advised that he had <br /> insisted upon a meeting with the Board of Supervisors and one had been <br /> scheduled for June 8 , which staff and Council representatives are asked <br /> to attend , so that the Board of Supervisors will know the thinking of <br /> Redwood City in the matter . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING) Application of LEON RIMOV & ASSOCIATES (Owner - Challenge <br /> Develo . ments , Inc . for approval of a Planned Development Permit for <br /> construction of four (4 ) detached single -family dwellings with a common <br /> green area , declared open and affidavits of publication and mailing <br /> ordered filed . <br /> Mr . Leon Rimov , 1483 -A Solano Ave . , Albany , <br /> California , described the site as a 44 , 000 <br /> square foot area , and indicated in response <br /> to Council that they were agreeable to <br /> conditions imposed by Planning Commission at <br /> their meeting of April 4 , 1972 , that two <br /> visitor parking spaces for each unit were <br /> being provided , explained that the common <br /> green area did include planting at the corner <br /> of Farm Hill Blvd . and Eden Bower Lane , and <br /> that the landscaping would be installed by <br /> the developer as development proceeded . <br /> There being no communications or further discussion , Councilman Williams moved <br /> to close the public hearing , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6711 CONDITIONALLY APPROVING <br /> APPLICATION FOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY IN <br /> THE VICINITY OF FARM HILL BOULEVARD AND EDEN BOWER LANE IN THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote . <br /> Appeal of R . Bunyard from denial by the Planning Commission on his application <br /> for a Variance to Section 15 . 9 (b ) , of the Zoning Ordinance , to permit a <br /> side yard setback of 5 feet where a minimum width of 15 feet is required <br /> when commercial property is adjacent to a residential district . <br /> Planning Commission , after a public hearing on April 25th , denied the <br /> Variance requested for property located at 26 Central Avenue . Report was <br /> submitted to Council . <br /> Mr . Robert Bunyard , 1562 James Avenue , advised <br /> that at one time the variance had been approved <br /> by Planning Commission but for financial reasons , <br /> project did not proceed at that time . The <br /> present plans were the same , and he indicated <br /> that without the variance , use of the property <br /> would not be feasible . <br /> Mayor Keckley informed Mr .
