64 <br /> After straw ballot procedure , Mayor Keckley announced that Robert F . <br /> Cunningham , Henry Taratt, , and Michael Douglas had been reappointed as <br /> members of the Board of Building Review for terms expiring April , 1976 . <br /> ( c ) Civic Cultural Commission 4 % rs . ) After straw ballot pro- <br /> cedure , Mayor Keckley announced that Mary L . LeBlanc had been appointed <br /> to the Civic Cultural Commission for a term expiring December , 1973 . <br /> ( d ) Board of Library Trustees (Term 3 yrs ) . Councilman ideymouth <br /> moved that a unanimous ballot be cast for reappointment of the two <br /> incumbents to this Board , Lawrence G . Brian and Leonard Greenwold for <br /> seconded by Councilman Henderson . ( corrected <br /> terms expiring June , 1979 . / 6 - 19 -72 ) <br /> ( e ) Park and Recreation Commission ( Term I-` yrs ) . Mayor Keckley <br /> reminded Council of policy which had been held to in the past for <br /> maintaining no more than five members of one sex on this Commission and <br /> pointed out two women had been nominated , Diana J . Pound and Joanne <br /> %leintraub , which could be considered as replacement of two of the three <br /> vacancies on this Commission , if approved by Council. . <br /> Councilman Norris moved aunanimous allot be cast for appointment of <br /> Diana J . Pound and Joanne Weintraub as members of the Park and Recrea- <br /> tion Commission , seconded by Councilman Henderson . Councilman Henderson <br /> felt motion implied support of the policy of two women be maintained on <br /> this Commission but pointed out the various expiration of terms with <br /> suggestion that straws be drawn to determine terms for each . Since <br /> Diana Pound present , it was suggested that she draw the sLraws to indi - <br /> cate terms of office to be held by each . Motion carried . <br /> Mayor Keckley thereaf_ tE ' announced Joanne Weintraub i s appointment for <br /> term expiring April 1975 , and Diana Pound ' s appointment for term <br /> expiring April 1976 , <br /> After straw ballot procedure of the remaining nominees for this Com- <br /> mission , Mayor Keckley announced William M . Warren had been appointed <br /> ror term expiring April 1973 . <br /> ( f ) Planning Commission (Term 3 yrs ) . After straw ballot procedure , <br /> Mayor Keckley announced iJilliam Floyd , Jr . , had been reappointed for <br /> full term expiring June 1975 , and appointment of Andrew Bacigalupi and <br /> John J . Murphy for two remaining vacancies with varying terms . Since Mr . <br /> Murphy was present , he was asked to draw straws to determine termination <br /> date . Mayor Keckley then announced Mr . Bacigalupi had been appointed for <br /> term expiring June 1973 , and Mr . Murphy for term expiring June 1975 . <br /> 6 - 12 -72 <br />
