Henderson, <br /> Paul C . Keckley , William C . Rhodes , Ray A , Weymouth , James S . Williams , <br /> Mayor Robert H . Bury , and City Clerk Marian McCrindle . Councilman Herbert <br /> G . Petersen was noted absent (entered the meeting at 7 :48 P . M . ) . Also <br /> noted present were City Manager James M . Smith , Police Chief John R . <br /> McDonald , Jr . , Planning Director Ken Schroeter , Chief Building Official <br /> Charles Gyselbrecht , Construction Engineer William T . Reggetts . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Regular Meeting <br /> of January 17 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention to amend the Zoning Map to Prezone <br /> property located at the southeast end of Atherwood Avenue , consisting of <br /> 3 . 60 acres , otherwise known as lands of Royer -McCarthy and Eichorn , in an <br /> unincorporated area , to "R-1 " ( Single Family - Residential ) District , <br /> declared open , and affidavits of publication and mailing ordered filed . <br /> Staff report indicated that the Planning Commission had at their meeting <br /> of January 11 , 1972 , after a public hearing , recommended prezoning for <br /> the entire parcel to R -1 District . Previous prezoning hearing had covered <br /> only a portion of the area proposed for annexation , and was terminated <br /> 1 --24 -72 <br />
