Charles Greiner , representing <br /> Peninsula Cable TV, urged early con- <br /> sideration by Council of their amended __ <br /> request for rate increase . <br /> Councilman. Henderson moved that Council take no action at this <br /> time on change of rate , pending development of guidelines , <br /> seconded by Councilman Leipzig . Councilman l;reymouth indicated <br /> he would oppose tabling the item , and Councilman Norris supported <br /> his position . Motion FAILED on roll call vote , Councilmen Norris , <br /> Rhodes , Weymouth and Mayor Keckley voting no ; Councilmen Henderson <br /> and Leipzig voting yes , and Councilman Williams being noted <br /> absent . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to approve rate increase by introduction of <br /> Ordinance amending Section 7 of Ordinance No . 1329 relating to <br /> the Rates and Charges established for Community Antenna Tele - <br /> vision System Franchise , specifically excluding provision <br /> relating to subsequent rate increase in 1973 , seconded by Council - <br /> man Weymouth and carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Norris , <br /> Rhodes , Weymouth and Mayor Kecl: ley voting yes ; Councilmen <br /> Henderson and Leipzig voting no , and Councilman Williams being <br /> noted absent . <br /> Mayor Keckley announced one additional communication from James and '' <br /> Kathleen Geiger , requesting to appear before Council , which <br /> at the time could not be acted upon pending the ou tcor:ie of court <br /> proceedings . He advised that since the case had now been <br /> settled in court , 1_ t would be appropriate at this time to act <br /> on the request . He suggested that since it was a matter of <br /> interest to the Housing Concerns Comni_ ttee , it would be appro - <br /> priate to refer to that Committee . City Manager felt that since <br /> Staff is involved in research for the Committee as to what other <br /> communities are doing relative to relocation_ ; it might also be <br /> referred to Staff as well as the Housing Concerns Committee . <br /> (Memo 7- 12 -72 ) <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to adjourn by adoption of RESOLUTION NO . 6761 <br /> COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF HENRY J .
