OFF-STREET PARKING , City Manager ' s report and recommendations were submitted to Council on August 29th regarding formalizing Council ' s previous approval of increasing monthly parking permit fees from $4 to $7 per month ; that meter rates be changed to a uniform 50 per hour in lieu of the present 25¢ for ten hours ; and meters in the Marshall lot be converted to 56 ten-hour meters , 22 five -hour meters , and 48 two-hour meters . (Written report submitted to Council . ) Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6792 ESTABLISHING PARK- ING METER ZONES IN PUBLICLY CONTROLLED PARKING LOTS , PROPOSING RATES AND TIME SCHEDULES THEREIN, SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON SAID RATES ; AND PROPOSING RECISION OF RESOLUTION NO . 6427 , ( sets public hearing for September 25 , 1972 ) , seconded by Councilman Rhodes . Following brief discussion on the type of usage of the parking lots in question and regarding the additional revenue , motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Leipzig being noted absent . Councilman Henderson moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 20 . 150 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to Parking Meter Permit Fees , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Williams voting no , and Counci ]n Leipzig being noted absent . Redwood Shores - GID 1 -64 - Economic Evaluation . City Manger ' s written recommendation for requesting authorization for entering into agreement with Williams -Kuebelbeck & Associates , Inc . , for an e conomic evaluation of Redwood Shores was submitted to Ccu ncil . Councilman Norris requested that as much detail as possible be quoted from the staff report for the interested residents of Redwood Shores who were present in the audience . City Manager commented on the preliminary work leading up to this recommendation and proceeded to outline the phased analysis and review which w ill be necessary in order to evaluate proposals of any future possible developers of the area in question . The completion o f Phases No . 1 and 2 would be completed within thirty to forty-five days at a cost of not to exceed $8 , 000 . 00 . Phases No . 3 and 4 would only be undertaken after the completion of the first two phases , on a task order basis with a precise scope of work 9/11/72 Reg . Mtg .
