Meeting adjourned at 8 : 31 p . m . <br /> MARIAM McCRINDLE <br /> City Clerk <br /> Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br /> Redwood City Council <br /> October 2 , 1972 7 :30 p . m . <br /> Mayor Keckley called the meeting to order at 7 : 0 p . m . <br /> Pledge of Allegiance was led by Sue Byrne , Government Affairs Program Student . <br /> Invocation was led by Reverend Barry Willbanks , First Christian Church . <br /> ON ROLL CALL , the following were noted present : Councilmen Marguerite <br /> Leipzig, William C . Rhodes , Ray A . Weymouth , Mayor Paul C . Keckley , <br /> and City Clerk Marian McCrindle , Councilmen Mary W. Henderson , Robert <br /> E . Norris , and James S . Williams were noted absent . Also noted <br /> present were City Manager James M . Fales , Jr . , City Attorney David E . <br /> Schricker , Assistant City Manager James M . Smith , Police Captain <br /> George Bold , Planning Director Ken Schroeter , Director of Public <br /> Works Richard J . Pusich , and Deputy City Clerk Frances I . Reggetts . <br /> On roll call , the following Government Affairs Program students were <br /> noted present : Sue Byrne , Nancy Capone , Larry Fabbro , Renee Krahner, <br /> Rita Pityer , Peter Salsedo , Frank Yriarte , <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Regular <br /> Meeting of October 2 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried . <br /> COMMUNITY PROGRESS REPORT . City Manger reviewed his written report to <br /> Council : Community Development : Tentative completion dates for <br /> various current planning projects were as follows : <br /> 1 . Emerald Lakes - Immediately <br /> 2 . Land Use Elements - November 30 , 1972 <br /> 3 . Transportation and <br /> Circulation Element - May 31 , 1973 <br /> 4 . Housing Element - May 31 , 1973 <br /> 5 . Open Space Element - November 30 , 1972 <br /> 6 , Conservation Elements - May 31 , 1973 <br /> The Noise , Seismic Safety , and Scenic Highway Elements would be <br /> -- started at a later date . The Waterfront Committee ( Councilmen <br /> Norris , Weymouth and Williams ) had begun study on an overall water- <br /> front plan . Hopefully by the next monthly report there would be an <br /> estimated completion date . <br /> Twenty- four residential units were added during the past month , <br /> 5 single - family units , one duplex , and a l7-unit apartment at <br /> 10/9/72 <br /> Reg .
