Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6816 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ELECTROLIERS ON MUNICIPAL MARINA PARKING LOT AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THERE- FOR , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and Carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson , Norris and Williams being noted absent . Administrative Assistant Job Specifications and Salary Range . This classification was approved by Council and funds provided in the current Budget . Staff recommended approval of the specifications and proposed salary range . Report was submitted to Council . In response to question by Councilman Leipzig , City Manager advised that the job specifications were designed to be applicable to any department , subject , of course , to the approval by Council in the budget process . The classification was justified for the Fire Department and appeared in that department ' s budget effective January 1st for the first assignment to a Department . Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6817 APPROVING SPECIFI - CATIONS FOR POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, and to introduce Ordinance amending Section 10 of Ordinance No . 1519 , the Salary Ordin- ance , relating to position of Administrative Addistant , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson , Norris , and Williams being noted absent . Item concerning proposal by the Transportation Committee was removed from the agenda . El Camino Real Project -- Traffic Sammy Program , A detailed report by Staff was submitted to Council , advising of rescheduled deadlines for traffic projects involving State -Federal funds , such as proposed improvements o f El Camino Real , Whipple Avenue to Oak Avenue . Staff requested authorization by Council to continue studies and design on the basis o f full project , and to schedule and conduct informational meetings w ith affected merchants and property owners . Final report would be made to Council for consideration at a later time , with modifications , if any to be determined prior to submittal for State-Federal approval , and County concurrence , Deadline for submittal of plans , specifications and estimates if January 1 , 1973 . City Manager advised that staff recommended the best overall planning study for El Camino Real , and did not want to start with less than what they felt was best . Councilman Weymouth noted a number of interested persons present , and 10/9/72 Reg . Mtg .
