208 <br /> Minutes of Regular Meeting <br /> Redwood City Council <br /> November 6 , 1972 7 : 30 p . m . <br /> Veterans Memorial Building <br /> Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Norris . <br /> Invocation was led by Reverend Richard Minesinger , Seventh Day Adventist <br /> Church . <br /> ON ROLL CALL , the following were noted present : Councilmen Mary W . <br /> Henderson , Marguerite Leipzig , Robert E . Norris , Williams C . Rhodes , <br /> Ray A . Weymouth , Mayor Paul C . Keckley , and City Clerk Marian <br /> McCrindle . Councilman James S . Williams was noted absent . Also <br /> noted present were City Manager James M . Fales , Jr . , City Attorney <br /> David E , Schricker , Assistant City Manager James M . Smith , Chief of <br /> Police John R . McDonald , Planning Director Ken Schroeter , Director <br /> of Public Works Richard J . Pusich , and Deputy City Clerk Frances I . <br /> Reggetts . <br /> Roll call was taken of the new group of Government Affairs Program <br /> students , with the following noted present : John Aldrich , Leonie <br /> Batkin , Elaine Ellers , Peggy Frahm , David Loomis , John Lyssand , and <br /> Jean i haney . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Adjourned <br /> Regular Meeting of October 30 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Henderson <br /> and carried . <br /> Woodside Road Frontage Fencing . Residents concerned with condition of <br /> this fencing had requested an appearance before Council to present <br /> their views for resolving the situation . City Manager ' s report to <br /> Council was submitted June 1 , 1972 , outlining alteratives , Council <br /> approved the recommendation that City accept quit claim deed and agree <br /> to maintain the fence if restored to an acceptable state by July 1973 . <br /> (For Manager ' s report dated November 1 , 1972 , see City Clerk ' s file - <br /> Woodside Road Widening-Misc . ) <br /> Mr . Victor Stolz , owner of duplex at <br /> 1934-» 1936 Woodside Road , advised that <br /> his purpose in coming before Council <br /> was to request that the grape stake <br /> fencing not be removed in the 1700 to <br /> 1900 blocks of Woodside Road . He <br /> referred to correspondence received <br /> from City Manager ' s office recommending <br /> five possible courses of action . He <br /> stated that as of the previous weekend , <br /> the property owners had gotten together and <br /> replaced all missing grape stakes in the <br /> 17001900 blocks , with the exception of a <br /> section near 1702 Woodside Road , because <br /> of a tree .
