City Manager <br /> advised that the recommendation was made taking into consideration <br /> the age of the building , realizing there are different kinds of <br /> floors , much better , but which would require tearing out the concrete <br /> slab . He noted the building is becoming old and it was felt this <br /> type flocri..ng would be the best that can be obtained , and hopefully <br /> would last the length of the remaining life of the building , which <br /> he estimated to be between seven and ten years . Motion carried on <br /> roll call vote , Mayor Keckley and Councilman Williams being noted <br /> absent . <br /> Councilman Rhodes moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6830 APPROVING SPECIFI- <br /> CATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF PVC FLOORING AT RED <br /> MORTON COMMUNITY PARK RECREATION CENTER BUILDING ; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Leipzig <br /> and carried on roll call vote , Mayor Keckley and Councilman Williams <br /> being noted absent . <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR : <br /> ( a ) DAMAGE CLAIMS : ( 1 ) Mrs .
