Axtell indicated they would work with PG&E <br /> relative to cleaning up their lines , <br /> City Manager discussed improvement of Chestnut Street , which were part of <br /> the subdivider ' s obligation . <br /> Following additional brief discussion , Councilman Keckley moved to adopt <br /> RESOLUTION NO 6668 GRANTING CONDITIONAL EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS <br /> OF ARTICLE IV, CHAPTER 11 , AND ARTICLE IV, CHAPTER 30 , OF THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO UNDERGROUNDING OF PUBLIC UTILITIES , <br /> AND LAYOUT AND DESIGN, RESPECTIVELY, FOR SUBDIVISIONS - LONGS DRUG STORES , <br /> INC . , seconded by Councilman Henderson . Councilman Keckley enumerated <br /> the requirements and the exceptions authorized , and was assured by City <br /> Attorney that the Resolution was sufficiently explicit , and indicated <br /> that under the Subdivision Ordinance , improvements are subject to approval <br /> o f Director of Public Works . Motion carried on roll call vote . <br /> Application of LESLIE SALT CO . , for. Exception to the Subdivision Ordinance to <br /> subdivide one parcel into two parcels , property adjacent to and westerly <br /> o f the Southern Pacific Railroad along Harbor Boulevard between Blomquist <br /> :street , PG&E , -Bair Island Substation, Steinberger Slough , and Redwood <br /> Creek , in a " GI " (General Industrial " and "TP " (Tidal Plain ) District . <br /> Planning Commission at their meeting of January 11 , 1972 , had recommended <br /> to Council that there be no requirement for rear alleys as an exception <br /> o f the Subdivision Ordinance and that other exceptions be authorized , <br /> subject to the conditions outlined in report submitted to Council . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6669 GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO <br /> CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY - <br /> LESLIE SALT CO . , seconded by Councilman T::Uilliams . In response to question <br /> by Council , Planning Director advised that the action would have no effect <br /> on zoning boundaries in any way . Motion carried on roll call vote . <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6670 APPROVING PLANS AND <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR RENOVATION OF REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY PARK FORTY NINER <br /> FIELD ; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR , seconded by <br /> Councilman Rhodes , <br /> City Manager noted that a detailed report had been forwarded to Council <br /> describing the events the previous year relative to intentions to renovate <br /> the practice field . He indicated that not included in the report was the <br /> Cact that , at the timetid is awarded , the San Francisco 49ers would deposit <br /> with the City the amount of the contract so flub funds would be encumbered , <br /> 2 - 7 -72 <br />
