Martin , <br /> Acting Deputy Director of Public Works , Engineering Services Fred Sennewald <br /> and Deputy City Clerk Frances I . Reggetts . <br /> The following Government Affairs Program Students were noted present on roll <br /> call : Ralph Leidy , Richard Eckstrom, Greg Rohde , Bob Shabatura , and Amy <br /> " Sugimoto . Noted absent were Angel Capuchino and David Brumett . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Regular Meeting of <br /> February 14 , 1972 ; Minutes of Executive Session of February 14 , 1972 ; and <br /> Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of February 16 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman <br /> Williams and carried , Mayor Bury abstaining , having been absent from those <br /> meetings . <br /> Mayor Bury read into the record a proclamation concerning the importance of creation <br /> of drug programs to combat drug abuse , and that dedicated service clubs would <br /> seek to raise money by selling "drug alert " pins to operate a community switch <br /> board to provide information , referral and crises intervention procedures on a <br /> 24-hour , seven-days -a -week basis , and therefore proclaimed March 3 and 4 , 1972 <br /> as "Operation Drug Alert Pin Days " , urging support of all citizens . <br /> Mayor Bury announced that there had been a request by Council members , as well as <br /> the appellant , that an agenda item relating to application for CATV rate increase <br /> be continued * <br /> Mr . Charles Griner , Consultant for Peninsula <br /> Cable Television , asked for continuance for <br /> one week , to allow for updating of information . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to grant the request far continuance for one week (March 6 , <br /> 1972 ) , seconded by Councilman Williams , Councilman Rhodes indicated he would <br /> like to be furnished with a list of programs applicable to education , along with <br /> dates and time . Councilman Keckley asked that the company be prepared to answer <br /> whether it felt it had reached the subscriber saturation point in Redwood City, <br /> and whether it had run a cost analysis of price per individual . Mayor Bury <br /> noted that Councilmen Henderson and Petersen had also referred a number of <br /> questions . Councilman Keckley asked also that the company provide in writing <br /> the reason they believe a rate increase was warranted . City Manager referred <br /> to a number of written questions submitted by Councilman Henderson , and suggested <br /> they presumably were meant to be passed along to the Peninsula Cable TV . Mayor <br /> Bury also urged Mr . Griner to contact Councilman Petersen relative to questions <br /> he had . Motion carried . (MINUTE ORDER #72 --36) <br /> 2 -28 -72 <br />
