457 <br /> Mayor Bury announced that April 5 , 1972 had been set for Youth in Government <br /> Day Program, and that there would be approximately 6o students from <br /> Sequoia Union High School and Redwood High School participating and <br /> that back-up material is now going out to make this a meaningful <br /> day for all participating . <br /> Councilman Rhodes moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and <br /> carried . M . <br /> Pledge of Allegiance was led by Cub Scout Pack No , 121 , Webelos Den , Highlands <br /> Community Center . <br /> Invocation was led by Associate Pastor James Ramsey , First Assembly of God <br /> Church . <br /> ON ROLL CALL , the following were noted present : Councilman Mary W . Henderson , <br /> Herbert G . Petersen , William C . Rhodes , Ray A . Weymouth , Vice-Mayor Paul C . <br /> Keckley and City Clerk Marian McCrindle . Noted absent were Councilman James <br /> S . Williams and Mayor Robert H . Bury . Also noted present were City Manager <br /> James M . Fales , Jr . , City Attorney David E . Schricker , Assistant City <br /> Manager James M . Smith , Police Chief John R . McDonald , Jr , , Fire Chief John <br /> Keller , Construction Engineer William T . Martin , Chief Building Official <br /> Charles Gyselbrecht , and Stenographer Louise Kroeck . <br /> Vice -Mayor Keckley noted the Government Affairs Program students were not present <br /> at the meeting due to Easter recess , <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Regular Meeting <br /> of March 20 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried . <br /> Councilman Henderson introduced as her guest her aunt , Mrs . Alice Warner , an <br /> attorney doing volunteer work in Mexico in a community development program <br /> which received support from Mount Carmel Church , <br /> Vice -Mayor Keckley invited Mr . Frank Osborne of Cub Scout Pack No . 121 to introduce <br /> the individual Scouts who led the Pledge of Allegiance for this Council <br /> meeting , who were as follows : Mike Abarr , Tim Bohle , Randy Chaney , Nick <br /> Habian , Mike Jameson , David Kemmer , Jeff Osborne , Bob Sullivan and Dennis <br /> Weaver , Vice -Mayor Keckley expressed appreciation on behalf of Council <br /> 3 -27-72 <br />
