Motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Petersen , and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Weymouth voting no , and <br /> Councilman Williams abstaining . - , <br /> Councilman Henderson questioned the present commercial zoning of the vacant <br /> property at the corner of Alameda and Woodside Road , at variance with the <br /> General Plan, and after brief discussion , moved to refer the question of <br /> residential zoning for the property to the Planning Commission for recommenda- <br /> tion , seconded by Councilman Rhodes . Motion lost on roll call vote , Councilman <br /> Petersen , Keckley , Weymouth and Mayor Bury voting no , and Councilman Henderson , <br /> Rhodes and Williams voting yes . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to amend <br /> Article 45 , Ordinance No . 1130 , the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance , relating <br /> to "Architectural Permits " , declared open and affidavit of publication ordered <br /> filed . Planning Commission at their meeting of February 23rd , recommended <br /> approval by the City Council of the proposed amendment . Report had been <br /> submitted to Council . <br /> There being no communications or further discussion , Councilman Keckley moved <br /> to close the public hearing , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to introduce Ordinance repealing Sections 45 , 1 and <br /> 45 . 2 of , amending Sections 45 . 3 , 45 . 5 , 45 . 6 and 45 . 7 of , and adding Sections <br /> 45 . 1 , 45 . 2 , 45 . 9 and 45 . 10 to , Ordinance No . 1130 , the Zoning Ordinance , <br /> relating to Architectural Permits , seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried . <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6479 ADOPTING FEE SCHEDULE <br /> FOR USE OF THE VETERANS MEMORIAL BUILDING , seconded by Councilman Henderson . <br /> Councilman Rhodes indicated that as a member of the Council ad hoc Committee , <br /> he voted in favor only with the agreement that any group could appeal the <br /> category in which they were placed , through the Park and Recreation Commission , <br /> who would rule on the matter and report back in 90 days to Council . It was <br /> noted by Councilman Petersen this provision was incorporated in the Committee ' s <br /> report to Council , under the 4th item , Mayor Bury noted correspondence <br /> received by him from the Galileo Galilei Lodge , Order of Sons of Italy in <br /> America , who had already found another meeting place and who objected to the <br /> rate increases , as well as the manner in which their group was notified of <br /> the rate increases . Councilman Williams indicated he would not support the <br /> Resolution in the absence of a detailed report . Committee members gave <br /> assurance that the matter had been gone into in great detail . <br />
