102 (b ) Adoption of ORDINANCE NO . 1130 . 129 REPEALING SECTIONS 45 . 1 and 45 , 2 OF , AMENDING SECTIONS 45 . 3 , 45 . 5 , 45 . 6 AND 45 . 7 OF , AND ADDING SECTIONS 45 . 1 , 45 . 2 , 45 . 9 AND 4 . 10 TO , ORDINANCE NO , 1130 , THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO ARCHITECTURAL PERMITS . ( Communication from Chamber of Commerce requesting hearing on this ordinance be continued for two weeks was read by City Clerk . ) Affidavits of Publication were on file . ( c ) DAMAGE CLAIMS : ( 1 ) California. State Automobile Association (insured : Michael E . Vasilove ) , subrogated claim for loss allegedly due to negligence of driver of City -owned vehicle ; (2 ) Woodman & Woodman , Attorneys , on behalf of Jacob J . Ockenfels , 542 Lancaster Way , property damages allegedly caused by City ' s contractor during creek improvement work . ( Council action would deny the claims and refer to insurance carrier ) (MINUTE ORDER #71 -63 -A & #71 - 63 -B ) (d ) ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, Nos . 83713 to 83823 , inclusive , totaling $414 , 371 . 20 . ( Council action would approve accounts for payment by City ) ( e ) Approval of attendance and expenses for Councilman Henderson to attend Seismic Safety Advisory Board meeting in Sacramento , April 20 , 1971 . (MINUTE ORD a' #71- 64 ) With reference to Item (b ) , relating to Zoning Ordinance amendment , Architectural Permits , City Attorney pointed out that the Ordinance was up for adoption, and that public hearing had been closed . If public hearing was to be re- opened , publication of notice of the hearing would be required . Councilman Petersen questioned whether consideration of adoption of the Ordinance could be deferred for the two weeks , then decision made as to whether to set for public hearing . City Attorney responded that it could . Werner Salinger, 155 Birch Street , indicated he had been requested by the Chamber of Commerce Commercial Industrial Committee to represent them , and apparently the committee had not re - ceived the information on the ordinance prior to the hearing . They wanted the opportunity to study the ramifications . Councilman Keckley questioned whether Dr . Salinger was not aware of the hearings at Planning Commission level , and he responded that the Chamber had apparently not been notified . Councilman Petersen moved to continue consideration of adoption of the Ordinance for two weeks ( to April 26th ) , at which time Council would make the decision to reopen the hearing , or adopt the Ordinance . Motion died for lack of a second . Councilman Henderson noted that the Chamber of Commerce receives copies of agendas , and indicated the numerous other opportunities to be aware ,
