If public hearing was to be re- <br /> opened , publication of notice of the hearing would be required . Councilman <br /> Petersen questioned whether consideration of adoption of the Ordinance could <br /> be deferred for the two weeks , then decision made as to whether to set for <br /> public hearing . City Attorney responded that it could . <br /> Werner Salinger, 155 Birch Street , indicated <br /> he had been requested by the Chamber of Commerce <br /> Commercial Industrial Committee to represent <br /> them , and apparently the committee had not re - <br /> ceived the information on the ordinance prior to <br /> the hearing . They wanted the opportunity to <br /> study the ramifications . <br /> Councilman Keckley questioned whether Dr . Salinger was not aware of the <br /> hearings at Planning Commission level , and he responded that the Chamber had <br /> apparently not been notified . <br /> Councilman Petersen moved to continue consideration of adoption of the Ordinance <br /> for two weeks ( to April 26th ) , at which time Council would make the decision <br /> to reopen the hearing , or adopt the Ordinance . Motion died for lack of a <br /> second . Councilman Henderson noted that the Chamber of Commerce receives <br /> copies of agendas , and indicated the numerous other opportunities to be <br /> aware , <br />
