<br /> Doris Thompson , Chairman, Park and Recreation Commission ,
<br /> expressed her compliments on the Linden Street mini park ,
<br /> and felt this was a fine way to obtain property for recreation
<br /> or open space purposes at very little cost .
<br /> City Manager commented there would be some problems in acquiring total rights
<br /> because of prior revocable permits granted by San Francisco . It was his
<br /> understanding that on the westerly barrel , which is to have a new pipeline
<br /> installed, they were considering revoking existing permits , and perhaps
<br /> these could be picked up later .
<br /> James Knecht , Park and Recreation Commissioner , and
<br /> Chairman of the Mini Park Committee , expressed
<br /> appreciation to Council .
<br /> Mayor Bury relinquished the gavel to Vice-Mayor Keckley in order to offer
<br /> motion to adjourn by adoption of RESOLUTION NO . 6494 COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY
<br /> OF KAY KENNAT1EY, who had been a City employee , and commended her and her
<br /> husband , Thomas , for their many charitable activities in the community .
<br /> Motion was seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried .
