He felt the proposal for 56 , 000 was excessive , <br /> but felt that Council should provide some funding to get this job done . <br /> City Controller commented this could be part of Capital Improvement Program . <br /> Account 710 approved as submitted . <br /> Account 730 - Recreation Department : <br /> Account 730 approved as submitted , noting report requested from City Manager . <br /> City Manager advised that directive had been sent to Recreation Director , <br /> in accordance with Council ' s request , to assume administrative respon- <br /> sibility for both CAB and Veterans Memorial Building , and letter directed <br /> to Park Superintendent to relocate his office to Municipal Services Center . <br /> Account 760 - Library Service : <br /> City Controller advised there was an overstatement of $17 , 232 in this <br /> Budget . Permanent Salaries should be $225 , 350 ; Total Direct Salaries , <br /> $290 , 512 ; and Total Employee Services , $334, 836 . Account 760 approved <br /> as corrected . <br /> Mayor Bury announced that the next Budget Study Session would be held on <br /> May 12 , 1971 , 7 : 30 P .M . , Municipal Services Center , and discussion would <br /> begin with Capital Improvements .
