<br /> ON ROLL CALL, the following were noted present : Councilman Mary W . Henderson,
<br /> Paul C . Keckley , Herbert G . Petersen , William C . Rhodes , Ray A . Weymouth ,
<br /> James S . Williams , Mayor Robert H. Bury , and City Clerk Marian McCrindle .
<br /> Also noted present were City Manager pro tempore Ken Schroeter , City Attorney
<br /> David E. Schricker , Police Chief John R . McDonald , Jr . , Fire Chief John
<br /> Keller , Chief Building Official Charles Gyselbrecht , City Treasurer-Collector
<br /> Harriet Drivon , City Controller Jack Ference , Deputy Director of Public Works ,
<br /> Public Services Warren J . Mitchell , Construction Engineer William T . Martin,
<br /> Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini , City Librarian Karl Vollmayer , and
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Frances I . Reggetts .
<br /> Councilman Keckley moved to approve , as mailed , Minutes of Regular Meeting of
<br /> May 10 , 1971 , and Minutes of Executive Session of May 10 , 1971 , seconded by
<br /> Councilman Weymouth , and carried , Councilman Henderson, Rhodes and Williams
<br /> abstaining, having been absent from those meetings .
<br /> — Councilman Keckley moved to approve , as mailed , Minutes of Adjourned Regular
<br /> Meeting (Budget Study ) of May 12 , 1971 , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and
<br /> carried .
<br /> Mayor Bury presented Mr . Howard Williams , retiring Auxiliary Fireman of the
<br /> Redwood City Fire Department , with an inscribed badge , in honor of his many
<br /> years of loyal service to the Department .
<br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Application of STANLEY C . SWARTZ CO . , for approval of a Revised
<br /> Planned Development Permit containing ho single -family detached dwellings ,
<br /> located in Redwood Peninsula ; Quay Lane , being Lots 1 through 40 , Dolphin
<br /> Subdivision No . 2 , in an "R-2 " (Residential -Duplex ) District .
<br /> Councilman Williams observed that several items of information and reports had
<br /> been received just prior to the meeting by Council from the Redwood Shores
<br /> Homeowners ' Association and from the developer , as well as communications on
<br /> the item . In order to provide Council the opportunity to digest the latest
<br /> submittals , Councilman Williams moved to continue the matter for one week
<br /> (May 24 , 1971 ) , seconded by Councilman Henderson . Councilman Henderson also
<br /> requested that Council be furnished with copies of the exhibits designated
<br />
