181 Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6529 AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF DESIGNATED LIBRARY ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS , seconded by Councilman Henderson . City Librarian ' s report to Council indicated that certain of the administrative records had been retained longer than was legally required , some dating back to 1907 and extending through 1965 , and were believed to be of no further use to the Library or the City . Due to crowded conditions in the Main Library , he intended to make similar requests for disposition of obsolete records in the future . (For text of report , see City Clerk ' s file -City Librarian) . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Petersen being noted absent . Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6530 CONCURRING IN RECOMMENDATION OF THE DISTRICT BOARD OF MENLO PARK SANITARY DISTRICT THAT IT NOT BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE PROPOSED SUB-REGIONAL SANITARY SEWAGE PLANNING GROUP AND THAT NO TAXES OR ASSESSMENTS BE LEVIED FOR THAT PURPOSE UPON THE PROPERTY OWNERS OF SAID DISTRICT , seconded by Councilman Williams . Staff report indicated resolution would request San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to exempt the area served by the Menlo Park Sanitary District from proposed Sewage Planning Group . Report was submitted to Council . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Petersen being noted absent . Councilman Rhodes moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6531 PROHIBITING VEHICULAR PARKING ON DESIGNATED PORTIONS OF WOODSIDE ROAD ( STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 114) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Williams . The resolution is required by the State Division of Highways in order for City to be authorized to prohibit curb parking at certain locations on both sides of Woodside Road at , and adjacent to , intersections where installation of left turn lanes in the median also permits U-turns , and such U-turns cannot be completed in one forward movement without using the additional width of the curb parking lane . Traffic Committee recommended approval after conducting field tests which indicated that , for reasonable safety , curb restriction of 75 feet commencing from the nose of the median in the direction of traffic flow is necessary . Traffic Committee also recommended that curb parking be eliminated along the curb of a T-intersection opposite the intersecting street with Woodside Road , Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Petersen being noted absent .
