<br /> Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6543 APPROVING APPLICATION FOR LAND
<br /> AND WATER CONSERVATION FUNDS - CANYON ROAD PARK PROJECT , seconded by Councilman
<br /> Rhodes .
<br /> $200 , 000 was being requested for use in the park site for improvements to include
<br /> tennis courts , group picnic and day camp areas , restrooms , pedestrian paths and
<br /> landscaping . Plans necessary for submission with application had been prepared
<br /> by Staff . City Manager pro tem advised this concerned future possible development
<br /> of Canyon Road Park, for which some land has already been acquired by the City ,
<br /> and additional was being negotiated . Application would be for matching grant .
<br /> Following additional discussion , motion carried on roll call vote , Mayor Bury
<br /> being noted absent .
<br /> Review of agreement between City of Redwood City and Ribera & Sue , Landscape
<br /> Architects , Staff report indicated that pursuant to the agreement , Ribera & Sue
<br /> had proposed a new rate schedule , and that after review, Staff recommended termina-
<br /> tion of the agreement . City Manager pro tem reported that the minimum annual fee
<br /> of approximately $25 , 000 was calculated to be more than would be needed in the
<br /> coming year in terms of projected improvements . He advised that they also
<br /> proposed increase of approximately 20% in the rate schedule for cost of principals
