( Council action would approve accounts for payment by City ) Councilman Henderson moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items ( a ) , ( c ) , and ( d ) , seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Rhodes , Weymouth and Williams , and Mayor Bury being noted absent . Councilman Petersen moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR Item ( b ) , adoption of ORDINANCE NO . 1130 . 134 ADDING SECTION 6o , 17 . 2 TO ORDINANCE NO . 1130 , THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF FARM HILL BOULEVARD AND EDEN BOWER LANE , Vice-Mayor Keckley relinquished the chair to Councilman Henderson in order to offer the second to the motion . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Petersen and Vice-Mayor Keckley voting yes , Councilman Henderson voting no , and Councilmen Rhodes , Weymouth, Williams , and Mayor Bury being noted absent . COMMUNICATIONS : 1 . Request of Harold W . Hinch , 124 Alameda de las Pulgas , for outside sewer connection permit (Mr . Hinch was granted a sewer connection permit June 26 , 1967 , Resolution 5412 ) . Recommendation : Refer to Staff for report . 2 . Redwood City Sunrise Lions Club for permission to close off traffic on portion of Broadway in vicinity of Douglas for a Go-Cart race sponsored by their group and to be conducted by the National Go- Cart Association on July 25th . Recommendation : If approved , refer to Staff for implementation . 3 . Resolution adopted by City of San Bruno urging State Legislature to act with all due haste to resolve distress of constituents to equalize distribution of service costs and to grant needed relief to property taxpayers . Recommendation : Refer to Legislative Committee . 4 . E . G . Tiegel , 521 Arlington Road , expressing concern for costs to City for expenses in Redwood Shores for capital improvements and bond expenses . Recommendation : Refer to Staff for reply . 5 . Association of Bay Area Governments , Berkeley, California, memorandum dated June 21st urging all Supervisors , Mayors , Councilmen , County and City Managers to communicate their opposition to Assembly Bill 1057 to their Assemblyman immediately . (ABAG office communicated by telephone on June 24 to advise the Bill had passed the Assembly and gone to the Senate ) Councilman Petersen suggested that Council go on record in opposition to Assembly Bill 1057 . Councilman Henderson reported that , as member of ABAGts Home Rule Committee , she felt that the Bill would be changed in the Senate . Councilman Henderson asked that a further item be added as No . 6 , report dated June 25 by City Manager concerning Informational Meeting on the Widening of the Alameda de las Pulgas . She suggested that Council should have a presentation from Staff , and following additional discussion, Vice-Mayor Keckley asked that the presentation be set for August 11 , 1971 . ( Memo 6 -29-71 )
