208 <br /> Vice -Mayor Keckley reported on two forthcoming events : Municipal Services Center <br /> was nominated for consideration in the 1971 Environmental Awards Program for <br /> excellence in exterior lighting, with awards to be presented at a luncheon on <br /> Wednesday, June 30th, at the Hilton Inn , San Francisco International Airport ; <br /> and luncheon on July 1 to launch July as " Zero in on Safety" Month , to be held <br /> at Royal Coach Inn, San Mateo , to which Council was invited . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to adjourn by adoption of RESOLUTION NO . 6553 COMMEMORAT- <br /> ING THE MEMORY OF JOHN J . Reggetts . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to approve , as mailed , Minutes of Regular Meeting of <br /> June 28 , 1971 , seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried . <br /> APPEAL of HAROLD F . KING , JR . , from denial by the Planning Commission of his applica- <br /> tion for exception to the Subdivision Ordinance to subdivide one parcel into two <br /> parcels , 771 Roosevelt Avenue , in an "R-2 " ( Residential Duplex ) District . Staff <br /> Report indicated applicant proposed to re-establish lot lines that existed prior <br /> to adoption of a section of the Zoning Ordinance that restricted the lot to a <br /> single parcel, and to develop one lot containing 5 , 000 square feet for con- <br /> struction of a duplex . Planning Commission had at its meeting of June 22 , 1971 <br /> failed to approve the application for exception by a 4-2 vote . <br />
