225 Councilman Rhodes moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6566 AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF LAND AND IMPROVEMENTS IN VICINITY OF VALOTA ROAD AND COMMUNITY PARK, seconded by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson , Petersen and Mayor Bury being noted absent . Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6567 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE LEASING OF REAL PROPERTY AND A BUILDING FOR PARK- ING LOT AND STORAGE FACILITIES , RESPECTIVELY , seconded by Councilman Rhodes . Present lease for this property used for parking area for City employees and building used for additional vault storage by City for records will terminate as of September 30 , 1971 . Increase of rental rate from original lease of $10 , 000 to that proposed of $15 , 100 for five years was felt to be equitable and Staff recommended renewal . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson , Petersen and Mayor Bury being noted absent . Councilman Williams moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6568 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH EAST REDWOOD CITY YOUTH JOB CORPS FOR PERFORMANCE OF CERTAIN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES . Council Committee working with this group recommended Council authorize financial assistance for this program in the amount of $200 . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson , Petersen and Mayor Bury being noted absent . Councilman Rhodes moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6569 APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT ; AND AUTHORIZ - ING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Williams . Current equipment is obsolete and to be replaced with modern console and radio , and will also provide necessary 112 watts of power and allow silent alarms to be tied directly to console . $50 , 000 was approved in Capital Improvements Account in the current Budget . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson , Petersen and Mayor Bury being noted absent . (b ) Adoption of ORDINANCE NO . 1498 ADDING SECTION 20 . 96 . 11-1 TO ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON EUCLID AVENUE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY .
