Mrs . Dorothy M . Cummings , 41 Inner Circle , protesting proposed rate in- <br /> crease for parking meter permits . <br /> Recommendation : Refer to Staff for reply . <br /> 3 . Mr . and Mrs . George Ward and residents of Atherwood Tract , regarding <br /> drainage problems in this area . <br /> Recommendation : Refer to Staff for report . <br /> In response to question by Councilman Rhodes whether anything was being <br /> done , City Manager pro tem advised the County had recently submitted a <br /> revised permit request relating to use of City easements . Halverson , 419 Compass Drive , requesting permission from Council <br /> to paint house numbers on curbs in the City . <br /> City Manager pro tem responded to question by Council , advising that <br /> currently permit for this type of work has been issued to Police Youth <br /> Club . Police Chief added that no work has been started on any of this , <br /> principally because of difficulty in getting correct stencils and type <br /> of paint . There is an order with an eastern company for the size the <br /> City requires , and hopefully by August the work would be started and <br /> would be a fund raising activity . Vice -Mayor Keckley questioned whether <br /> there was any reason this boy should not be given a permit and was in- <br /> formed by Police Chief there was none . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to accept communications and Staff recommendations , <br /> seconded by Councilman Williams and carried . ( MINUTE ORDER #71-- 132 ) <br /> Vice-Mayor Keckley announced that the Council had been polled and it appeared <br /> there would not be a quorum present at the regular session for July 26 , 1971 . <br /> Councilman Rhodes moved to cancel the meeting of July 26 , 1971 , and adjourn to <br /> Regular Meeting , August 2 , 1971 , 7 : 30 P .M . , at the Pavilion ( Redwood Shores ) , <br /> 350 Marine World Parkway , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried .
