Harbor Boulevard Landscaping Staff report indicated that a request of Council , investigation was made of possibility of landscaping Harbor Boulevard between the freeway junction and a point approximately 200 feet beyond the entrance to Municipal Marina , Park Department proposes that 40 olive trees and 60 oleander shrubs be purchased to be placed around the utility poles and to provide approximately 1400 square feet of landscaping in this portion of the boulevard . Cost of the project was estimated at $1400 , plus additional $1400 for labor , to be performed by Park Department personnel . City Manager advised that since funds were low in the City Beautification account , and the project is eligible for Gas Tax Funds it was recommended the latter be used . He also indicated permit from Pacific Gas and Electric would be taken care of .
