59 <br /> Proposals were considered from Griffenhagen-Kroeger and CPS , and it was <br /> felt services of Griffenhagen- Kroeger should be engaged to handle the <br /> recruiting . Councilman Henderson reported that this firm was highly <br /> recommended , after speaking with people in ABAG and League of California <br /> Cities . <br /> Mayor Bury suggested that appropriate action would be to instruct Staff <br /> to prepare necessary documents relating to agreement and appropriation <br /> required . City Attorney felt that with regard to an appropriation , City <br /> Auditor would want to examine the amount needed and source of funds . <br /> There was a brief discussion as to whether an agreement might be entered <br /> into to enable the firm to begin work , with the funding arrangements to <br /> be worked out , since appropriation for the approximately $8 , 00o needed <br /> would require an ordinance , which is not effective for 37 days . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to instruct Staff to prepare the resolution <br /> authorizing agreement and necessary documents for appropriation of funds <br /> required , seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried .
